Experiences at Steninge Coastal Station 

The Coastal Station offers both hiking, MTB and kayaking. We, Catarina and Per, who operate the place love to hike and ski between the mountain lodges and cottages both here in Sweden and around the world. Our goal is incorporate the cosy and relaxed atmosphere of the mountain lodge in our Coastal Station.

You can choose to participate in various activities on your own or together with a group and a guide. We can also help you customize and setup activities based on your wishes – you’re more than welcome to contact us at kuststationen@gmail.com

Our excursion concept is for those of you who would like to discover exciting places around Steninge – places that have inspired Alf Hambe’s ballads and poems. These hikes are for both adults and children and especially those of you who enjoy nature, mischief, and imagination! These excursions are available all year round.

Yoga

 Swedish Championship in Porridge Cooking 18th of May

The double world champion in porridge cooking (2017 & 2018) Per Carlsson, is, of course, responsible for the porridge served at breakfast at Steninge Coastal Station. He has even started his own “porridge bar” and on the 18th st of May, he will be competing with the other elite Scandinavian cooks for the chance to represent Sweden at the World Championship in Porridge Cooking in Scotland in October. 

Sunset hikes

Every Weds evening in July, we have prepared for transportation to take us to Särdal’s lifeguard station where Harplinge’s local history society has arranged guided tours. After, we’ll hike along the coast towards Steninge with, hopefully, an eye-catching sunset on the horizon.
